Poetry: Judas

Judas

Counting silver dollars

that melt in your hands

and runs through your fingers.

It repools at your feet

and freeze solid.

Tears flow like rain in

velvet drops and they fall

to wash your hands clean.

Your soul is deep in the

burial plot,

with only coins for company.
